Gluten Intolerance Test

The GLUTEN’ ALARM® Gluten Intolerance Test is a rapid home screening kit designed to detect anti-tissue transglutaminase (t-TG) IgA antibodies in a small finger-prick blood sample.

These antibodies are commonly associated with gluten intolerance and celiac disease, an autoimmune condition triggered by the ingestion of gluten proteins found in wheat, barley, and rye.

This gluten intolerance test provides a convenient way to screen for possible gluten-related immune reactions from the comfort of home.

Understanding Gluten Intolerance

Gluten intolerance and celiac disease occur when the immune system reacts to gluten proteins. This immune response can damage the lining of the small intestine and interfere with nutrient absorption.

Common symptoms may include:

• Chronic diarrhoea
• Abdominal pain or bloating
• Excess gas
• Weight loss
• Persistent fatigue
• Anaemia
• Osteoporosis
• Delayed growth in children

Because symptoms can vary widely, gluten intolerance may remain undiagnosed for years.

Why Early Screening Matters

Gluten-related immune reactions can cause inflammation and long-term intestinal irritation if left untreated. Therefore, early screening helps individuals identify possible gluten intolerance and seek appropriate medical advice.

The GLUTEN’ ALARM® Gluten Intolerance Test detects anti-tTG IgA antibodies, which are widely used as a first-line screening marker in clinical testing for gluten-related autoimmune responses.

How the Gluten Intolerance Test Works

The test uses a small finger-prick blood sample to detect the presence of anti-tTG IgA antibodies.

  1. Clean the fingertip using the alcohol pad provided.

  2. Use the sterile lancet to obtain a small blood sample.

  3. Collect the blood using the pipette.

  4. Place the sample into the test device and add diluent drops.

  5. Wait 15 minutes and read the result window.

Do not interpret results after 20 minutes.
